Proctor, Four Others Throw Combined No-Hitter For Daytona Beach Tortugas

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – James Proctor along with four other relievers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Daytona Beach Tortugas in a 1-0 victory over the Jupiter Hammerheads on Saturday night.
Proctor struck out 11 hitters in five innings of work, allowing one walk and hitting one batter. His 11 strikeouts are the second most in a single-game in Tortugas history. Proctor and the other relievers finished with 16 punchouts overall.
The former Tiger is 2-0 this season for the Tortugas with 0.53 ERA in 17 innings along with 27 strikeouts.
