OMAHA, Neb. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team was represented by nine current and former student-athletes at the U.S. Olympic Trials at the Chi Health Center from Sunday, June 13 to Sunday June 20.
Princeton set three program records at the trials, sent two to the Wave II trials, six to the Wave I trials and one to the U.S. Diving trials.
Raunak Khosla
Khosla had an outstanding meet at the Wave II trials, earning a spot in the A final of the 200 IM after finishing eighth in his heat with a school record time of 1:59.83. He also set a new school record in the 200 breaststroke of 2:13.44, finishing 18th in the event. Khosla finished 22nd in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.45 and 29th in the 100 butterfly in 53.23.
Dylan Porges
Competing in the 400 freestyle at Wave II, Porges finished 25th and set a new school record in 3:54.77. Porges also finished 28th in the 400 freestyle in 8:09.90 and 45th in the 200 butterfly in 2:03.70.
Max Seidel
Seidel competed in the 200 and 100 breaststroke at Wave I, finishing 33rd in 2:21.44 and 42nd in 1:03.66.
Brian Lou
Competing at Wave I in the 50 freestyle, Lou finished 44th in 23.25.
Brett Feyerick
Feyerick swam in the 100 backstroke, finishing 36th in 57.09 at Wave I.
Billy Swartwout
Swartwout finished 23rd in the 200 backstroke at Wave I with a time of 2:04.43.
George Callanan
At the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Diving, Callanan finished 32nd on 3-meter with a score of 240.25.
Derek Cox '20
Cox finished eighth overall at Wave I in the 200 butterfly, posting a time of 2:06.31. He finished 16th in the prelim with a time of 2:04.15.
Corey Lau '21
Lau finished 12th overall in the 100 breaststroke at Wave I with a time of 1:02.88. He finished fifth overall during the heats after touching the wall at 1:02.36.
