Collins '19 Selected To USRowing Olympic Team

PRINCETON, N.J. – Claire Collins '19 has been named to the United States Rowing Olympic Team, the organization today.
Collins will race in the 4- for the United States. She will join another Princeton alumnae Gevvie Stone '07 (2X). The Olympic Rowing competition will be from July 23-30 at the Sea Forest Waterway in Tokyo.
"We are so proud of Claire Collins," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "She led this team and set an example for all though hard work and a positive attitude. She is always so encouraging and supportive of the team around her. You could tell early on she was destined for greatness! She was our fearless leader who is now on her way to compete at the Olympics!"
Collins was a four-time All-Ivy honoree and three-time All-American. She finished her senior year with the von Kienbusch Award and was nominated for NCAA's Woman of the Year honor. Collins helped the program win four straight Ivy titles.
