Cumming and Emus Selected To NECBL All-Star Game

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton Baseball's Brendan Cumming and Jackson Emus have been named New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) All-Stars, the league announced last night.
The 2021 NECBL All-Star Game will be hosted by the Newport Gulls at Cardines Field next Sunday, July 18.
Cumming of the Mystic Schooners is having a fantastic season as he's produced a .343/.470/.433 slash line in 18 games. He's added one home run, 10 RBI and five stolen bases along with 15 runs. While his 10-game hitting streak recently ended, Cumming has four multi-hit outings in the last two and half weeks.
Emus of the North Shore Navigators has collected a 2.31 ERA in 23 1/3 innings of work. He's picked up wins in his last three outings including a seven-inning, seven strikeout performance vs. Winnipesaukee on June 24th. Opponents are hitting .177 against him while his WHIP is just under one at .94.
