Savanah Phillips Named Water Polo Assistant Coach

Savanah Phillips has been hired as men and women's water polo assistant coach, the teams announced.
"Coaching has always been my passion and it's something I truly love doing," said Phillips. "Thankfully, I got a lot of support from my parents and two older sisters. I am excited to continue growing and impacting lives through coaching at Princeton University."
Phillips comes from Wittenberg University where she was part of the first varsity water polo team in the state of Ohio. She earned two all-conference and All-Academic honors while also earning All-America honors in 2019. The two-time captain graduated with a bachelors' degree in the Sport and Business Management.
Philips also spent time at San Diego Mesa College where she secured two MVP and all-conference honors before transferring to Wittenberg.
The new Princeton assistant coach started her coaching career at East County Aquatics, coaching all ages from 10u-18u. She also spent time coaching at Grossmont and Serra High Schools.
