Paro Named Director of Basketball Operations

PRINCETON, N.J. – Lilly Paro has been hired as Director of Basketball Operations, Princeton women's basketball head coach Carla Berube has announced.Â

"I am incredibly grateful and honored to work for this prestigious institution, program, staff, and group of players," said Paro. "It is an opportunity of a lifetime and one that I will not take for granted. Go Tigers!"

"We are truly excited to welcome Lilly to the Princeton Women's Basketball Family." Said Princeton head coach Carla Berube. "Lilly embodies everything it means to be a Tiger. She has a tireless work ethic, she's detail-oriented, has a high basketball IQ and will bring a consistent, positive energy to everything she does.  As a former high academic student-athlete at Tufts University, Lilly will relate well to our student athletes' experiences. Lilly will most certainly be a tremendous asset to our staff, our program, athletic department, and the campus-wide community.

Paro graduated from Tufts in 2020 where she was coached by Berube for two of her three seasons. She saw action in 78 games, averaging 2.7 points and adding 63 three-pointers. The Jumbos went to the Division III Sweet 16 all four years she was at Tufts.Â

After graduating with a degree in Psychology, Paro was a learning specialist at the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac, Md. While there, she coached basketball and lacrosse and was a volunteer assistant at Smith College.
