Four to Join Women's Squash Program from Incoming Class

Four members of the incoming Princeton Class of 2025 are set to join the Princeton women's squash program, a team coming off a national final appearance at the last Collegiate Squash Association team championship, held in 2020.
Along with the newcomers, the Tigers return three All-America honorees in seniors Raneem El Torky and Elle Ruggiero and sophomore Caroline Spahr. That trio are also returning All-Ivy League honorees, as is senior Emme Leonard.
Here's a look at the incoming class:

Molly Chadwick
Toronto, Ont. • St. Clement's School
Before Princeton
Two-time Canadian national junior champion ... represented Canada at the World Junior Squash Championships in 2019 ... competed four seasons for both the squash and basketball teams at St. Clement's.

Parents are Rob Chadwick and Elizabeth Pierson ... interested in medicine, science and sport psychology among academic pursuits.

Josephine Klein
New York, N.Y. • St. Ann's School
Before Princeton
Achieved a junior ranking as high as No. 2 and was in the top five in every age-group ranking ... reached the finals on the Junior Championship Tour twice ... earned 2020 US Squash All-American honors ... part of Saint Ann's School's varsity squash team as a freshman and a sophomore, playing second as a freshman and first as a sophomore.

Katherine Sapinski

Two-time team MVP at the Groton School, earning a 19-2 record during the 2019-20 season and serving as the team captain during the pandemic-canceled 2020-21 season ... helped Groton to a national Division III title in 2020 ... individually, achieved a No. 6 U19 ranking ... earned the 2021 US Squash DeRoy Sportsmanship Award, given to one male and one female high school senior each year.

Ranked as high as sixth in the girls U-19 division ... selected as a member of Team USA to compete in the 2020 World Junior Squash Championships in Egypt, which were cancelled due to the pandemic ... four-time recipient of the US Squash Scholar Athlete Award ... earned US Squash High School All-American honors in 2020 ... played number one for Episcopal during junior and senior year, and was team captain senior year ... earned Episcopal's 1989 Girls' Squash Team Cup during her career ... two-time recipient of Episcopal team's Heckscher Bowl ...Selected as PA Prep Live's Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week in March 2021 ... also lettered in varsity track and field and was a member of Episcopal's 4x800 relay team that earned a school record (9:39.06) ... member of the National Spanish Honor Society and earned the AP Scholar award.
