Women's Cross Country Preps For HYP Saturday

After an interesting start to the 2021 season with a last-minute arrival to the course in Bethlehem and subsequent second-place result via tiebreaker, Princeton's women's cross country team hopes for an easier trip to race day on Saturday for HYP at West Windsor. The women's race is expected to start at 9:45 a.m. following the men's race which goes off at 9 a.m.
All five Tigers who scored last weekend at Lehigh crossed the line at the same time to give Princeton the 8-9-10-11-12 finishers. Abey Loveys, Margaret Liebich, Fiona Max, Angela Allen and Lucca Fulkerson each recorded a finishing mark of 22:14.8 after arriving at the course roughly 15 minutes ahead of the race's start.
Princeton enters the weekend ranked No. 24 in the USTFCCCA Preseason National Rankings and No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic Region ahead of the first in0-season rankings due out next week. Harvard is ranked No. 5 in the Northeast Region.
