Princeton rides a two-game winning streak into Tuesday's match against Saint Joseph's, each victory a clean sheet for the group. After dropping their first two matches of 2021, The Tigers have outscored their opponents by a margin of 5-0 during the back-to-back shutout wins.
The Tigers have a decided edge in shots taken over their opponents this season, taking 69 shots to just 30 by opposing teams. Walker Gillespie and Daniel Diaz-Bonilla would follow with goals in the second half to secure the 3-0 win over the Stags.
The Tigers have held opponents scoreless for 188:10 of game play dating back to the final minutes of a 2-0 loss at Vermont. The last time Princeton posted back-to-back shutout wins was in 2018 when the Tigers defeated Harvard (3-0) and Cornell (2-0) on consecutive weeks from October 20-27.

After dropping their first three games of 2021, Saint Joseph's has split its last two matches, including a 3-1 win to open A10 play at George Mason on Friday. The Hawks trailed, 1-0, at the half but put three in the back of the net in the final 45. Before that, Saint Joseph's suffered a 2-1 defeat at Rutgers -- a team Princeton lost to 1-0 on an own goal in the season opener. Eight different players have scored a goal for the Hawks this season, Blake Driehus and Omry Perel each have a goal and an assist to lead the Hawks in scoring with three points.
