Women’s Tennis to Open 2021 Fall Season

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team will officially commence its 2021-22 campaign, sending student-athletes to Wolfpack Invitational/Ranked Spotlight and the Kitty Harrison Invitational, beginning on Thursday, September 23.

The Wolfpack Invitational/Ranked Spotlight in Cary, North Carolina, from Thursday, September 23, until Sunday, September 26, at the Cary Tennis Park. Senior No. 102 Brianna Shvets, junior Daria Frayman, sophomore Neha Velaga along with freshman Victoria Hu, who was tabbed as the No. 9 newcomer in the 2021 ITA Preseason Newcomer rankings will be attending from the Tigers
Also competing at the event will be student-athletes from NC State, UCF, Tennessee, Ohio State, South Carolina, Miami, Virginia, Michigan, USC, Duke, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Friday, Sept. 24 - two singles matches
(Match times at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.)
Saturday, Sept. 25 - two singles matches
(Match times at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.)
Sunday, Sept. 26 - one doubles match, one singles match
(Match times at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m.)
Kitty Harrison Invitational
The Kitty Harrison Invitational in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, from Friday, September 24, until Sunday, September 26. Singles will be four compass draws of 16 players and doubles will be two compass draws of 16 teams. From the Tigers, senior Stephanie Schrage , junior Michelle Sorokko, sophomore Maia Sung, and sophomore Zoe Howard will be in attendance.
Student-athletes from North Carolina, Virginia, Iowa State, William & Mary, Auburn, Duke, Northwestern, Old Dominion, Wake Forest, Kansas, Princeton, LSU, Charlotte and Florida will also be competing at the Kitty Harrison Invitational.
