Pozaric and Knez Collect NWPC Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Roko Pozaric and Antonio Knez were honored with Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) weekly accolades, the conference announced today.
Pozaric was selected as the NWPC Player and Rookie of the Week while Knez was picked as the Defensive Player of the Week.
Pozaric began his collegiate career in impressive fashion at the Navy Invitational. In four games, the freshman produced a team-best 11 goals on 19 shots, adding six helpers, nine steals, four drawn ejections and nine sprint wins. He registered hat tricks in three of the four Princeton contests, highlighted by a four-game performance vs. Mt. St. Mary's and three tallies vs. No. 3 Cal.
Knez was the starting goalie for all four Princeton games, going 3-1 with a .703 save percentage. His weekend was highlighted by 22 saves in a 12-5 victory over George Washington, which tied a single-game program record. He also had 13 saves in a close 11-9 loss to No. 3 California and 15 stops in a victory over Johns Hopkins.
