For the first time since December 11, Princeton will take the ice as the Tigers set for a matchup against No. 1 Quinnipiac in Hamden. The Bobcats are up to the top spot in both the USCHO.com and USA Today polls on the strength of a 15-game unbeaten streak with a 13-0-2 record over that span.
The Tigers have had their last six scheduled games postponed due to COVID-19, including this game which was originally scheduled to be played on January 2. When the Tigers take the ice on Tuesday night, it will have been 37 days since their most recent game -- a 3-2 loss at Providence.
SERIES INFORMATION
Princeton and Quinnipiac are playing for the 33rd time, with the Bobcats holding a 19-12-1 edge in the series. The two teams are even at Quinnipiac, each with eight wins. Princeton's last win in the series and last win on the road at Perrotti Arena came on January 30, 2018 via a 5-3 decision.
PRINCETON WINS AGAINST RANKED OPPONENTS
Since the 1997 season, Princeton has 53 wins over ranked opponents -- including one win over a team ranked No. 1 in the nation coming when the Tigers defeated No. 1 Boston University, 3-2, on December 30, 1997. The Tigers have four wins over a ranked Quinnipiac team, including a sweep on 12/9-10/16 when the Bobcats were ranked No. 7.
TIGERS HUNTING OFFENSE
Princeton is looking to reignite its offense after scoring just three goals over its previous five games. The Tigers have shown the ability to score in bunches, netting 29 goals over their six games before the recent cold stretch -- an average of 4.8 goals-per-game.

Senior Corey Andonovski leads the Tigers in scoring with 6g, 3a for nine points. Last time out, he had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss at Providence for his third multi-point night of the season. Of his six goals, four have come on the power play. His 4 PPGs rank No. 2 in the ECAC and No. 12 in the nation.
