Meyers Named To Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Midseason Watch List

PRINCETON, N.J. – Abby Meyers is one of 15 players named to the 2022 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Midseason Watch List presented by Her Hoops Stats.

Simply put, the senior captain has been a bucket all season.

She ranks in the top 100 in the NCAA in field goal attempts (30th, 240), points (35th, 283), field goals made (37th, 105), three-pointers (63rd, 35) and three-pointers attempted (86th, 92).

Meyers has scored in double-figures in every game this season including six 20-point performances. Her signature contest was a 28-point outing vs. Cornell where she set a new career high while knocking down 11-of-17 from the floor including five treys. She leads the Ivy League in scoring, field goals, is third in free throws and fourth in three-pointers.

Princeton, at 12-4 overall and 4-0 in the Ivy League, welcomes Dartmouth to Jadwin Gym on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
