Crimson Take Friday's One-Goal Game at Baker

A second-period goal from Harvard's Brooke Jovanovich was the only one of the game as the Princeton women's hockey team outshot No. 9 Harvard on Friday night at Baker, but the Crimson came away with the 1-0 win.
The game remained scoreless until the final minute of the second period when Jovanovich threaded a shot along the goal line and in just 19 seconds before the ice cut.Â
Princeton won the shot-on-goal stat 29-26, with Rachel McQuigge stopping 25 Crimson shots as counterpart Becky Dutton earned the shutout. Princeton outshot Harvard 56-53 overall.
The Tigers will be home again next weekend, hosting Cornell on Friday at 6 p.m. and No. 6 Colgate on Saturday at 3 p.m.
