PRINCETON –No. 2 Quinnipiac scored twice in each period to down Princeton, 6-0, at Hobey Baker Rink.
The Tigers were outshot, 43-24, in the game. The Bobcats scored twice in each of the first two periods to build a 4-0 lead after 40:00.

Michael Lombardi doubled Quinnipiac's lead with 5:41 left in the opening period, tipping home a Metsa shot.
In the second, Desi Burgart made it 3-0 7:21 into the frame, one-timing home the rebound of a Lombardi shot off an odd-man Quinnipiac rush. Oliver Chau netted a power-play goal with 1:06 left in the middle stanza.
In the third, Joey Cipollone scored 2:41 in to make it 5-0 with a short-side wrister. Just before the midway mark of the third, Lombardi scored his second of the game with a shot from the slot to make it 6-0.
The Tigers are back at Hobey Baker Rink on Friday, hosting Brown at 1 p.m.
