Meyers Honored As Ivy League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Abby Meyers was pick as the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

Meyers recorded her second career double-double, collecting 19 points and a personal-best 11 rebounds in Princeton's 68-50 victory over Harvard.

The Tigers put the game away in the third stanza, allowing just one basket, jumping out to a 25-point advantage. Princeton outscored Harvard, 23-9, in that stretch, forcing the road squad to go 1-of-15 from the floor.

This is Meyers' third Ivy weekly honor as she secured two Rookie of the Week selections in 2017-18.

Princeton continues Ivy action with a road trip to Columbia on Friday (Jan. 7) and Cornell (Jan. 8). The game vs. Columbia is a nationally televised contest on ESPNU starting at 7 p.m. The Tigers' weekend finishes with a 4 p.m. tip against Cornell.
