No. 8 Men's Water Polo Sweeps NWPC Weekly Awards

PRINCETON – The Princeton Tigers swept the Northeast Water Polo Conference honors, the organization announced.
Vladan Mitrovic (Player), Antonio Knez (Defensive) and Luke Johnston (Rookie) all earned the weekly accolades.
Mitrovic contributed 13 goals and three assists as the Tigers went 5-0 during the week in California. He scored a hat trick vs. No. 10 Pepperdine and produced multi-goal games vs. No. 12 LMU, No. 17 Santa Clara and No. 16 Cal Baptist. He also contributed four goals vs. No. 3 Stanford, the program's first ever win over the Cardinal.
Knez went 3-1 during the Princeton week in California. He stopped 13 shots at No. 12 LMU, a win, before 15 saves vs. No. 16 Cal Baptist and 13 more shots vs. No. 3 Stanford. Four of his last five starts have produced at least 13 saves.
Johnston put up six goals and drew eight ejections for the Tigers. He scored a hat trick at No. 17 Santa Clara and added tallies at No. 12 LMU, No. 16 Cal Baptist and No. 3 Stanford. He also had four contests with multi drawn ejections.
