Princeton N.J - The Princeton men's cross country team is set to race at the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The Tigers are ranked No. 24 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings following their performance at Regionals last weekend.
The Tigers finished third among 26 teams at Regionals, and were one of 13 teams to receive at-large team bids to advance to the Championship.
The Tigers will be joined by No. 11 Villanova and No. 22 Georgetown from the Mid-Atlantic region once again at Saturday's race.
The Tigers had 5 runners named All-Region honorees following last week's Regionals: Connor Nisbet, Jack Stanley, Daniel O'Brien, Josh Zelek, and Jarrett Kirk.
Princeton has competed at NCAAs 17 times dating back to 1969. Princeton's most recent team qualification to the NCAA Championships came in 2021 when the Tigers finished 23rd.
Fortunately, the Tigers will already be familiar with Saturday's course, having raced in Stillwater earlier this season at the Cowboy Jamboree Meet. The team placed 11th out of 27 teams, many of which were nationally ranked within the top-ten.
The 2022 Ivy League Champions will toe the line one last time for the men's 10k championship race at 10:10 a.m. CST (11:10 a.m. EST) The race will also be live broadcasted on ESPNU.
