PRINCETON – The Princeton Tigers have gone five straight weeks with winning at least one Northeast Water Polo Conference weekly award as they earned two this week, the organization announced.
Yurian Quinones was named Player of the Week while West Temkin earned Co-Rookie of the Week. Quinones added eight points in the Tigers' two wins over St. Francis Brooklyn and Iona. He scored a hat trick and had two assists vs. the Terriers before two goals and a helper vs. Iona. Temkin had a season-high 18 stops in the victory over the Terriers. This is Quinones' second career weekly honor while Temkin was earn three.
Princeton finishes off the regular season on the road this weekend with contests vs. Brown on Saturday (12 p.m.) and No. 15 Harvard (10:30 a.m.) and MIT (2 p.m.) on Sunday.
