Wozniak Earns Season's Final Ivy Rookie Weekly Honor
November 07, 2022 | Women's Soccer
Kelsee Wozniak was in on both goals Saturday as the Princeton women's soccer team scored twice early in the second half to rally past Penn for a 2-1 win in its season finale, and Wozniak has been rewarded as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
It's Princeton's fourth Ivy Rookie of the Week honor this season and Wozniak's second, as she bookends the season with the honor. Since Wozniak's first honor on Aug. 29 after the season-opening weekend, classmate Pietra Tordin has won two, on Sept. 19 and Oct. 3.
Wozniak one-touched a pass to goal scorer Grace Sherman in the 18-yard box to tie the game in the 47th minute, and less than four minutes later, Wozniak scored what became the game-winning goal, taking a crossing pass from Tordin for the finish.
