Women's Basketball Team Completes Weekend Sweep, Tops Yale 74-36

Last month, Princeton found itself trailing Yale, 40-36, with 8:44 to go before rallying to a 61-49 victory.

Tonight was a little different.
Â
Yale's only lead was 2-0.

The Tigers ended the first quarter on a 9-2 sprint to hold a 21-11 advantage. The conference leading home squad kept Yale off the scoreboard for the final 4:36 of the first half to take a 38-19 lead into halftime.

Yale never got within 20 the rest of the way.

Princeton allowed five baskets in the second half and 17 points total. The Tigers had at least 17 points in every stanza.

Kaitlyn Chen and Abby Meyers co-led Princeton with 14 points apiece while Grace Stone (12) and Julia Cunningham (11) were also in double figures.

One night after forcing 31 Brown turnovers, the Tigers made the Bulldogs turn the ball over 25 times.
