Men’s Tennis Reveals No. 3 Ranked Recruiting Class for 2022

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team will welcome four new members in 2022-2023, as announced by Head Coach Billy Pate.
Princeton's 2022 recruiting class was ranked third best in the nation according to https://tennisrecruiting.net/, behind only Stanford and Columbia. The new Tigers include Fnu "Top" Nidunjianzan of Tibet, Paul Inchauspe of France, Sebastian Sec of New York and Ellis Short of Boca Raton, Florida.
"We're incredibly pleased how this class came together and we feel each of these young men bring the type of qualities we desire for our culture," said Pate. "All four have extensive domestic and international experience and have embraced competition at every opportunity. We are excited to get all of them on campus this fall and see them make an impact on our program."
Fnu "Top" Nidunjianzan – Brandeton, Florida
The No. 2 ranked junior in China, Fnu Nidunjianzan has an International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking of 107. Along with two ITF doubles titles, he reached the finals of U14 Eddie Herr, one of the most prestigious international events for younger players. Rated as a Blue-Chip recruit by https://www.tennisrecruiting.net/, Nidunjianzan has been ranked as high as No. 9 in the nation for the class of 2026.
Paul Inchauspe – France
Currently attending Reeds School in Cobham, UK, where current Tiger Damian Rodriguez '22 and former Tiger Thomas Colautti '17 studied, Paul Inchauspe has an International Tennis Federation (ITF) career high ranking of No. 40. Winner of four ITF singles and four ITF doubles titles, he has competed on the most prestigious of stages, including the Roland Garros French Open junior championships in 2021. Inchauspe's older sister, Alice, graduated from Princeton in 2016.
Sebastian Sec – New York, New York
A Blue-Chip recruit with an International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking of No. 115, Sebastian Sec trains at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and is ranked a career high No. 13 in the nation for the class of 2026. He won the USTA national championship in doubles at the National Clay Courts in Delray Beach, Florida, as well as an ITF doubles title with fellow incoming freshman Ellis Short in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Ellis Short – Boca Raton, Florida
Competing in ITF events in 21 countries since 2018, Ellis Short is ranked No. 150 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings. A five-star recruit with a rating as high as No. 32 in the nation for the class of 2026, Short has one ITF singles title and 3 ITF doubles titles to his name.
