Tigers Set to Resume Ivy Play at Harvard Saturday (New Time), Sunday

Following its Ivy-opening sweep of Brown and a midweek win over Villanova, the Princeton softball team will head back into Ivy play this weekend with a three-game set at Harvard on Saturday and Sunday.

Just a week into the Ivy season, the Tigers (9-9, 3-0 Ivy) are the only team to have played a league game and be undefeated, though Harvard and Columbia are right behind at 2-1.Â
Princeton leads the all-time series against the Crimson 48-34.Â
The Tigers' team batting average stands at .270 entering the weekend with Adrienne Chang (.377) and Ashley McDonald (.309) leading the team at the plate. Alexis Laudenslager (3.77 ERA, 43.0 IP), who threw a no-hitter last weekend against Brown, and Ali Blanchard (4.08, 39.2) have combined to throw 82 2/3 of the team's 119 1/3 innings.
The Crimson (8-11, 2-1) took two of three against Yale to open the league season last weekend. Harvard hits .225 as a team with Megan Welsh (.357) and Morgan Melito (.327) lead the team at the plate, and Anna Reed (2.95 ERA, 40.1 IP), Katie Arrambide (3.61, 31.0) and Lindsay Poulos (4.58, 26.0 IP) have handled most of the innings in the circle.
Following the weekend, the Tigers will return home to continue the Ivy season against Dartmouth April 2-3.
