No. 21 Women’s Water Polo Earns Third Place Finish at the 2022 CWPA Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 21 Princeton University women's water polo team secured an 11-8 victory over the Brown Bears, clinching third place at the 2022 CWPA Championships.
Brown scored the first two goals of the game, followed by a Jovana Sekulic goal which fueled a 4-0 scoring run for the Tigers. Sekulic would add another goal before half, while the Bears would tally two, giving the Tigers a 5-4 advantage at the half.
Princeton was firing on all cylinders in the third quarter, scoring four goals and holding the Bears scoreless. Brown was able to find their rhythm in the fourth, however, scoring three straight goals to pull within two. With the Bears threatening, Nicole Kresich notched her third goal of the game, sealing the victory for the Tigers.
