No. 48 Women’s Tennis Falls at No. 62 Yale, 4-3

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 48 Princeton University women's tennis team fell just short at No. 62 Yale University Saturday afternoon at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center, 4-3.
The loss was the Tigers' first in an Ivy League match since 2017.
The Tigers got off to a strong start, winning the doubles points. Nathalie Rodilosso and Brianna Shvets took down Kathy Wang and Caroline Dunleavy 6-4 at No. 2, and Zoe Howard and Neha Velaga earned a 6-1 win at No. 3 over Mirabelle Brettkelly and Rhea Shrivistava.
In singles, No. 31 Victoria Hu defeated Brettkelly 6-2, 6-2, at No. 3, and Velaga dispatched Dunleavy at No. 2, 6-2, 6-2.
