Women’s Track & Field Deliver Five Top-10 School Records

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track and field team finished their regular season on a high note, setting five top-10 school records Saturday afternoon at Weaver Stadium.
The Tigers finished second and third in the 100 meters, with Brianna Mponzi (11.91) edging Nia Mosby (12.02). Mosby's time moves her into eighth all-time in school history.
Mosby (24.12) bested Mponzi (24.70) in the 100 meters, with the two finishing first and third respectively.
Paola Rodriguez (57.92) was ninth in the 400 meters.
Arianna Smith secured eighth place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.53.
In the 800 meters, Caroline Timm (2:04.69) and Maggie Hock (2:05.14) finished fourth and fifth, the pair's times moving them into same positions in the record books.
Mari Noble (4:28.16) was 11th in the 1500 meters.
Three Tigers competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase, with India Weir (10:28.34) in second, Lexi Allen (10:54.99) in fifth and Lucca Fulkerson (11:04.33) in sixth. Weir's time places her tenth all-time in school history.
In the 5000 meters, Fiona Max (16.33.61) earned the top spot followed by Abby Loveys (16:44.28) in third.
Kate Joyce (47.14 m) placed first in the javelin while Rylie Pease (41.01 m) came in third.
In the hammer throw, Annika Kelly took second place with a heave of 59.82 meters.
In the discus, Siniru Iheoma secured first place with a toss of 47.69 meters. Iheoma took second place in the shot put as well, recording a distance of 14.16 meters.
Hanne Borstlap finished third in the pole vault with a mark of 3.96 meters, landing her fourth all-time in school history.
In the triple jump, Tia Rozario leapt a distance of 12.12 meters, good enough for third place in the event.
Madeleine Wood took fifth in the high jump after clearing 1.67 meters.
Up next: The NCAA Regionals will take place from May 25th – May 28th at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in Bloomington, Indiana.
