Princeton Rowing Finishes U19/U23 World Rowing Championships With Two More Medals

VARESE – The U19/U23 World Rowing Championships wrapped up action today.
Annalisa Janss Lafond '26 and Great Britain's U19 8+ collected a silver medal (6:14.57), trailing only the United States (6:12.16), giving the Princeton women's open rowing squad five medals overall.
Adam Casler '26 and the United States U19 8+ earned the bronze (5:38.17), giving the Princeton men's lightweight team its first individual medal this year at the World Rowing Championships.
Anna Menke '26 'and her partner Lotta Van Westreenen (Netherlands U19 2X) just missed a medal, securing fourth place in the A Final (7:04.95)
Marcus Chute of Great Britain U19 1x earned fifth place overall (7:12.53).
Princeton rowing finished with 12 medals at the U19/U23 World Rowing Championships.
"It was a wonderful event for Princeton rowing overall," said Princeton head coach Marty Crotty. "To have 12 medal winners at this international event is a tremendous accomplishment. Congratulations to all of the Princeton medal winners!"
