Pozaric and Knez Earn Conference Weekly Honors

PRINCETON - Roko Pozaric (Player) and Antonio Knez (Defensive) were named Northeast Water Polo Conference Players of the Week.
Pozaric added 14 goals and seven helpers as the Tigers did not lose any of their five games at the Princeton Invitational. He registered two goals, an assist and two steals vs. Wagner before four tallies and two swipes vs. Bucknell. The sophomore posted another hat trick against Santa Clara along with three helpers and two steals against California Lutheran. In a comeback win over No. 17 Fordham, Pozaric had four tallies. For the season, Pozaric already has 23 goals, 10 assists and 17 swipes.
Knez collected three wins at the Princeton Invitational in goal for the Tigers. He stopped 12 shots vs. Wagner in a three-goal victory before adding eight stops in an impressive two-goal fourth quarter rally over No. 17 Fordham.
Princeton, rolling on six-game winning streak, makes a trip to the West Coast for the UC-Davis Invitational. The Tigers take on UCLA (1:30 p.m., 10:30 a.m. PT) and UC-Davis (9 p.m., 6 p.m. ET) Saturday before taking on UC Irvine on Sunday (11 a.m. ET, 8 a.m. PT).
