
Men's Swimming & Diving Has Strong First Day at Navy Tri-Meet With No. 23 Notre Dame

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team had an impressive first day at its tri-meet at Navy with No. 23 Notre Dame, as it leads the defending Patriot League Midshipmen and narrowly trails the Irish.

With a time of 1:35.85, Mitch Schott earned a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle an earned an NCAA B cut. The Tigers would also earn the top-two finishes in the 200 butterfly, with Raunak Khosla finishing first in 1:44.10 and Nicholas Lim second in 1:44.44, both NCAA B cuts.
In the 400 medley relay the team of Tyler Hong, Khosla, Lim and Max Walther finished first and set a new pool record at Lejeune Hall, after clocking in at 3:09.27.
The quartet of Brett Feyerick, Lucas Tudoras, Lim and Max Walther finished second in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:19.91.
Princeton earned two out of the top three finishes in the 400 IM and earned a pair of NCAA B cuts, with Khosla finishing second in 3:46.40 and Hunter Kim third in 3:49.63.
In the 100 breaststroke, Joshua Brown finished second with a time of 54.61, while Walther finished second in the 50 freestyle in 20.13. Dylan Porges also clocked in at 15:09.48 in the 1,650 freestyle to earn a second-place finish and earn an NCAA B cut.
Tyler Hong earned a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke, touching the wall at 47.78, while George Callanan's time of 351.30 on the 3-meter board saw him finish third.
