Franklin & Marshall's Lehman Open Set to Open '23 for Princeton

In the Princeton wrestling team's first competition of 2023, 17 Tigers will head to Franklin & Marshall's David H. Lehman Open in Lancaster, Pa.

Princeton's entrants include: Nick Kayal (125), Anthony Clark (133), Danny Coles (141), Christopher Martino (141), Drew Lang (149), Marshall Keller (149), Hudson Hightower (157), Travis Tavoso (157), Ty Whalen (157), Grant Cuomo (165), Jack Lang (165), Luca Pontone (165), Nathan Stefanik (165), Aidan Conner (197), Matt Cover (285), Sebastian Garibaldi (285) and Travis Stefanik (285).
More than two dozen programs will be participating, including a strong presence from the EIWA with 14 of the league's 17 programs sending wrestlers.
Princeton last competed in the event in 2020, when current seniors Keller, then at 141, and Sean Pierson, then at 125, and Kevin Parker '20 (174) all won titles.
The event is Princeton's last multi-team tournament of the regular season and last before the Tigers head west for next weekend's pair of dual meets, first against Oregon State at FloWrestling's facility in Austin, Texas, on Jan. 13 and then at current No. 3-ranked Arizona State on Jan. 15.
