Women's Basketball No. 1 In Ivy Preseason Poll

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team was selected No. 1 in the Ivy League preseason poll, the league announced today.

The five-time defending Ivy League regular season and four-time defending Ivy League Tournament champions earned all 16 first-place votes to collect 128 voting points.

Columbia was second with 103 points while Harvard was right behind at 102 points. Penn was fourth (77) while Yale was fifth (69) followed by Brown (42), Cornell (39) and Dartmouth (16).

Princeton won 24 games and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season in 2023. The Tigers return Kaitlyn Chen, Ivy Player of the Year and Ellie Mitchell, Ivy Defensive Player of the Year along with Madison St. Rose, Ivy Rookie of the Year for the is campaign.
