No. 6 Men's Water Polo Splits During Day Two of Santa Clara Invite

SAN JOSE – The No. 6 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team registered a split during day two of the Santa Clara Invite.
No. 4 Pepperdine 7, No. 6 Princeton 6
Finn LeSieur registered a first quarter tally to even the score at 1-all in the first frame. Even at 2-all in the second quarter, the Tigers ripped off three straight tallies to jump ahead, 5-2, with 7:31 to go in the third quarter.
Pepperdine rallied with three consecutive goals, tying the contest at 5-all as the clock read 3:24 on the third quarter.
In the fourth, the two teams exchanged goals before Pepperdine's Ryan Brosnan scored the game-winner with 1:25 remaining in the game.
Princeton had six different goal scores win the game while Kristóf Kovács made 14 saves in the loss.
No. 6 Princeton 15, Fresno Pacific 7
The Tigers scored the first six tallies of the game and led 9-1 at the break. Princeton hardly let up in the second half, scoring four of the first five goals, improving its lead to 13-2.
Head coach Dustin Litvak's crew was never threatened the rest of the way as it had 12 different scorers in the victory. West Temkin had 11 stops in the victory.
