Chen Collects Weekly Honors; Belker Named Ivy Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON – Kaitlyn Chen and Skye Belker earned weekly honors for their performances last week.

Chen was selected as the Ivy League and Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week after she averaged 25.0 points, 3.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds in two Tigers wins last week. The senior captain was outstanding in the victory over Villanova, recording a career-high 31 points in a three-point takedown over the Wildcats. She followed that with 19 points and five assists in a victory over Rutgers.

Belker was honored as Ivy Rookie of the Week. She scored 12 points and grabbed four rebounds at Villanova before posting six points and grabbing three caroms in the game vs. Rutgers.

Princeton heads on the road to take on Vermont (Dec. 29) and Le Moyne (Dec. 31) to finish the non-conference portion of the schedule.
