Tigers Through One Round at The Prestige

Two rounds remain for the Princeton men's golf team at The Prestige, a two-site event in Southern California.
Monday's round saw the Tigers finish at +28 as a team in a 24-team field that includes 11 Golfstat top-50 programs. Pepperdine leads at -8, one stroke better than Stanford on the Greg Norman Course at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.Â
Pepperdine's William Mouw leads in the chase for medalist honors at the team event at -6, one stroke in front of Stanford's Michael Thorbjornsen and Texas Tech's Tyran Sanders. Max Holm is the top Tiger after a 5-over first-round.
Princeton will tee off for Tuesday's second round beginning at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.
At the individual event at The Golf Club at Terra Lago's North Course in Indio, Calif., Princeton's Riccardo Fantinelli shot 3-under to stand two strokes off the lead, with Auburn's Reed Lotter at -5 and Kansas' Frank Vucic at -4.Â
Princeton players at the individual event will begin teeing off at 8:36 a.m.
