
Men's Swimming & Diving Ends Opening Night of Ivy Championships Tied For First

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team is tied for first after the opening night of competition at the 2023 Ivy League Championships, Wednesday night inside the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
The Tigers and Harvard each ended the night with 120 points, while Yale had 106 and Brown and Cornell 100.
Princeton earned its first event championship of the meet in the 800 freestyle relay where the quartet of Nicholas Lim, Raunak Khosla, Mitch Schott and Max Walther finished in a new school record time of 6:16.77. They bested the previous record of 6:17.88 set by Lim, Khosla, Walther and Dylan Porges in 2022. Additionally, the time was an NCAA B cut.
The Tigers opened the night with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay; the team of Tyler Hong, Kael Mlinek, Conor McKenna and Brett Feyerick finished with a time of 1:24.98.
