No. 24 Men's Swimming & Diving Finishes Second at Ivy Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team earned a second-place finish at the 2023 Ivy League Championships Saturday at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatic Center, on a night that saw Raunak Khosla named High Point Swimmer of the Meet for the third time in his career.
The Tigers ended the meet with 1443.5 points, just short of Harvard won the meet with 1545 points. Yale came in third with 1052, and Columbia fourth with 975.5
Khosla tallied the maximum point total of 96 and was named Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of Meet along with Yale's Noah Millard. With 380 career points at the Ivy Championships, he was also named Harold Ulen Career High Point Swimmer.
200 Butterfly
Khosla won the 200 butterfly for the fourth time in his career, and set a new pool record with an NCAA B cut time of 1:41.72. Nicholas Lim finished second in an NCAA B cut time of 1:45.23, and Max Kreidl won the B final in 1:46.38. Also competing in the B final was Conor McKenna, who finished sixth in 1:48.80 and Peyton Werner who finished eighth in 1:49.61.
1650 Freestyle
John Ehling earned a second-place finish with an NCAA B cut time of 15:00.18, the second-fastest time in school history. With a time of 15:16.35, Dylan Porges finished ninth and earned an NCAA B cut.
100 Freestyle
Mitch Schott posted the fourth-fastest time in school history, 43.08, to earn a third-place finish and an NCAA B cut.
400 Freestyle Relay
The quartet of Max Walther, Khosla, Lim and Schott finished third after clocking in at 2:51.97, an NCAA B cut.
3-Meter Diving
Four Tigers advanced to the A final, with Joe Victor finishing fourth with a score of 335.80, Taso Callanan fifth with a score of 334.80 and George Callanan seventh with a score of 324.60.
200 Backstroke
Tyler Hong finished seventh in 1:45.23, and Brett Feyerick eighth in 1:47.38. Billy Swartwout swam in the B final, where he finished third in 1:45.21
200 Breaststroke
With a time of 1:57.69, Joshua Brown finished eighth in the A final, while Lucas Strõbek touched the wall at 2:01.33 to finish seventh in the C final.
ECAC Championships
Results
At the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships in Annapolis, Maryland, the team of James Pan, Max Seidel, Finn Dowdall and Max Hunger finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:29.32. Dowdall also tied for second in the 100 butterfly, touching the wall at 48.19, while Zev Schuman finished 13th in 49.68.
In the 200 freestyle, Hunger finished second with a time of 1:36.91, and Rasmus Makela took ninth in 1:39.41. Pan tied for 11th in the 100 breaststroke in 55.47, and Cameron Matthews took 14th in 56.05.
