Chen and St. Rose Win Ivy League Weekly Honors

PRINCETON – After a 2-0 weekend, the Women's Basketball Team had Kaitlyn Chen (Player) and Madison St. Rose (Rookie) earn Ivy League weekly honors.

Chen was efficient at Cornell, going 6-of-9 from the floor, producing 15 points, along with six helpers and four rebounds in a win over the Big Red. She was one of the best players on the court at Columbia, securing 16 points, seven rebounds and four dimes as the Tigers dropped the Lions to move into a tie for first place in the Ivy League. It's Chen's fourth Ivy weekly honor and first this season.

St. Rose was outstanding at Cornell, dropping in 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor, adding four rebounds and four assists as the Tigers handled the Big Red, 63-52. In a huge win at Columbia, the freshman put up 14 points and five caroms as the Tigers defeated the Lions, 74-56. This is St. Rose's fourth Ivy honor and third Ivy accolade.

The Tigers welcome Dartmouth to Jadwin Gym for National Girls and Women In Sports Day along with a Black History Month Celebration Saturday (Feb. 11). Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
