Liu Ace, Medalist Lead Highlight First Day at River Landing

Victoria Liu aced the par-3 sixth hole on the way to a three-stroke lead at UNCW's River Landing Classic at River Landing in Wallace, N.C., Monday after the first two rounds of the three-round event.

Tuesday's final round will have a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Liu was the only player in the field of 67 with two rounds below par, firing a 1-under 71 and a 2-under 70, getting the hole-in-one during the second round. James Madison's Kendall Turner, Marshall's Emily McLatchey and James Madson's Kayleigh Reinke are tied for second at even par.

Turner and Reinke have helped James Madison to a lead in the team standings at +11, five strokes in front of host UNCW. Princeton stands tied for sixth at +27.
