Utah Gets Past Men's Tennis Team in San Diego

The doubles point and three of the first five singles matches to finish went to Utah as the No. 70-ranked Utes got past the No. 51-ranked Princeton men's tennis team 4-2 Saturday afternoon in San Diego.
The Tigers will conclude the University of San Diego's Ed Collins Invitational against either Harvard or VCU Sunday.
Sebastian Sec and Ellis Short won on doubles court three without giving up a game, but Utah got the point by winning on courts one and two. Matthew Bosancic was a game away from a win on court six, but each of the matches on the first five courts was over in straight sets, and three of those went to Utah. Sec and Short were winners on courts four and five to give Princeton its points.
