Laudenslager Earns Season's Second Ivy Pitcher of the Week Honor

For the second time in this season's four weekends, senior Alexis Laudenslager has been named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week, this time after no-hitting Yale in the Ivy season opener.

On the week, Laudenslager made three appearances, getting the win in the first and third games of the series against Yale. In the series opener, Laudenslager threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out 10 with two walks as Princeton won 12-0. The no-hitter was the third of Laudenslager's career, making her just the second pitcher in program history with at least three career solo no-hitters. Erin Snyder '06 had four.

Laudenslager came back to get the win in 4 1/3 innings of work as Princeton held off Yale 3-2 on Sunday to sweep the series.

Laudenslager and the Tigers will look to continue their strong start to the Ivy League season this weekend at Brown.
