Three from Women's Squash Set for Final Day of Competition at CSA Individual Championships

Philadelphia, PA – Four members of the Princeton women's squash team competed in day two of the College Squash Association Individual Championships on Saturday, March 4th at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center.
Within the Ramsay Cup, Consolation Semifinal division,No. 13 seeded Andrea Toth defeated No. 8 seed Malak Taha of Penn 3-1 (11-9, 11-4, 8-11, 11-8) to upset the top ten seeded opponent, and advance to Sunday's finals which she will face No. 11 Karina Tyma of Drexel at 10:00 a.m.
Caroline Spahr, seeded at number three, defeated No. 2 Avni Anand of Penn 3-0 (11-7, 11-8, 13-11) to take a semifinal sweep to advance to Sunday's final match. Spahr will take on No. 5 Lujan Palacious of Trinity at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
In the Holleran Cup South Divison, Liyen Teoh defeated No. 4 Madeleine Hylland of Trinity 3-1 (15-13, 6-11, 11-6, 11-6) to advance to the finals on Sunday. She will take on No. 2 Serena Daniel of Harvard at 11:20 a.m.
India Stephenson fell to Serena Daniel in the semifinals 3-2 (10-12, 11-9, 13-11, 9-11, 4-11) in a hard fought, five game match. She ends her championship run with an impressive top-four finish within the Holleran South division.
