No. 52 Women's Tennis Opens Ivy Play With 4-1 Win At Penn

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 52 Princeton University women's tennis team opened Ivy League play with a 4-1 victory over the University of Pennsylvania, Saturday at the Hamlin/Hecht Tennis Centers.
The Tigers won the doubles point, with No. 25 Daria Frayman and Grace Joyce earning a 6-2 win over Sabine Rutlauka and Eileen Wang at No. 1, and Neha Velaga and Eva Elbaz taking down Gavriella Smith and Juliana Munhoz, 6-1, at No. 3.
In singles, No. 4 Frayman earned a victory over Rutlauka after she retired due to injury, and Velaga prevailed at No. 2 over Eileen Wang, 6-4, 6-3. At No. 5, Maia Sung clinched with match after triumphing over Munhoz, 6-2, 7-5.
