Fretty Paces Tigers as Princeton Invitational Comes to a Close

Jackson Fretty led the Princeton men's golf team with a 4-under weekend as the Tigers placed third at the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton.
Harvard won the team title at -15 with Yale second at -11 and Princeton's first entry third at -6. A second Tiger foursome placed 12th in the 14-team field.
Harvard's Brian Ma won medalist honors at -9, two strokes better than a pair of Yale golfers in Gabriel Ruiz and Robert You, each at -7.
Fretty tied for seventh overall at -4, carding three rounds under par at with a 2-under 69 bookended by 1-under 70 rounds. Max Ting had an eagle in his final round Sunday, making the par-five 12th hole in three.

The Ivy League Championship is next up for the Tigers, set for April 21-23 at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich, Conn.
