Marasheski and Shapiro Named CSC Academic All-District Team

PRINCETON – Eric Marasheski and Caden Shapiro have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization has announced.
Marasheski is hitting .276 this season while setting a new career high in runs (31), RBI (22) hits (47), extra base hits (22) and walks (24). He has posted a .276/.372/.453 slash line with three home runs while adding three stolen bases for the Tigers at shortstop.
Shapiro is having a banner campaign, corralling career marks in every statistical category. In 41 games, the sophomore outfielder has nabbed 37 hits (.272 average), 31 runs, two home runs and 16 RBI along with a .381 on-base percentage.
Princeton will play Harvard in the Ivy League Tournament on Friday at 11 a.m.
