No. 1 Men's Lightweight Rowing Has Varsity Four Secure Fourth Overall

WEST WINDSOR – The No. 1 Princeton Men's Lightweight Rowing Team saw its varsity four boat finished fourth overall in its IRA Grand Final on Saturday morning at Mercer Lake.
Georgetown raced out to an early lead and went on to take the gold by over five seconds. Cornell, Harvard, Princeton and Navy were bunched together with the Tigers just .05 seconds behind Cornell at 500m.
The Big Red broke ahead of Harvard and Princeton at 1000m with Harvard ahead of the Tigers. Princeton made a push, jumping ahead of Harvard at 1500m, but the Crimson rallied for the bronze medal.
The 1V (10:20 a.m.) and 2V (9:30 a.m.) race for IRA gold tomorrow.
