Men's Water Polo Sweeps NWPC Awards For Second Time

PRINCETON – The No. 5 Princeton Men's Water Polo Team swept the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week awards.
Roko Pozaric collected Player of the Week honors after scoring hat tricks in both games at the Bucknell Invitational last weekend. He also did not lose a sprint in eight tries. It's the eighth time in his career that Pozaric has been named NWPC Player of the Week.
Kristóf Kovács made a season-best 19 stops in the victory over Air Force, allowing a season-low two goals in the win. It's his second NWPC Rookie of the Week honors.
Princeton heads to California to take part in the MPSF Invitational this weekend. The Tigers start action on Friday vs. Cal Baptist (3 p.m., 12 p.m. PT) and Stanford (12:30 p.m., 9:30 a.m. PT) on Saturday.
