Men's Tennis Wraps Up Play At Farnsworth Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team wrapped up play Sunday at the Farnsworth Invitational inside Jadwin Gymnasium.

"Overall, it was a really good start to our season," said Head Coach Billy Pate. "We had three productive weeks of practice and fitness leading up to this so I felt we were better prepared than last year at this time. With four outstanding first year players it's exciting to see them begin their college career. Though we didn't finish today as strong as we wanted, we had strong performances the previous three days. We learned a lot about ourselves and have plenty to work on as we prepare for several tournaments the next 5 weeks."

In doubles, the duo of Sebastian Sec and Ellis Short took down Mika Berghaus and Pablo Alemany, 6-3.

Aleksandar Mitric earned a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 victory over Mortiz Kudernatsch, and Evan Wen also overcame Charlie Barry, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0.
