
Women's Tennis To Open ITA Kickoff Weekend Against No. 15 Duke

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's tennis team will continue its dual season at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Kickoff Weekend in Durham, North Carolina, on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 inside the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center.
The Tigers, who are 1-0 on the season after defeating Big Ten opponent Rutgers on Jan. 20 inside Jadwin Gymnasium, enter the weekend as the No. 4 seed and will face No. 1 seed and 15th-ranked Duke at 3 p.m. ET on Jan. 26. Second-seeded and 11th-ranked Auburn will face third-seeded Denver at 6:30 p.m. ET on Jan. 26 following the Tigers' match with the Blue Devils
The championship match will take place at 4 p.m. on Jan. 27 and the consolation match at 7 p.m.
No. 15 Duke is 4-0 on the season and took down Illinois, 4-2, on Jan. 20 in its most recent contest. The Tigers will encounter a familiar face during the contest with the Blue Devils, as Brianna Shvets '22 is member of the Blue Devil program as a graduate student.
No. 11 Auburn is 0-1 on the season is coming off a 6-1 loss at No. 1 North Carolina on Jan. 20. The Pioneers are currently 2-0 on the season and triumphed over Colorado State, 4-0, in their most recent contest.
