Berube Named To Mid-Major Coach of the Year Mid-Season Watch List

PRINCETON - Carla Berube has been named to the 2024 Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid Major Coach of the Year Award Mid-Season Watch List presented by Her Hoops Stats.

Berube joins the list featuring Gayle Fulks (Davidson), Joddie Gleason (Eastern Washington), Carly Thibault-DuDonis (Fairfield), Vanessa Blair-Lewis (George Mason), Lisa Fortier (Gonzaga), Kevin Borseth (Green Bay), Ashley Langford (Stony Brook), Lindy La Rocque (UNLV) and Beth O'Boyle (VCU).

Princeton is currently 14-3 overall and 4-0 in the Ivy League, sitting with a nine-game winning streak. According to WarrenNolan.com, Princeton has a strength of schedule of 49 with a non-conference SOS of 26. Berube's unit has a 6-3 mark combined in quadrant one and two, collecting a signature win over then No. 20 Oklahoma.

In her time at Princeton, Berube has led the Tigers to an 89-15 record with a 44-2 mark in Ivy play. She has collected three straight Ivy regular season titles, two Ivy Tournament crowns and has gone consecutive years of winning at least one game in the NCAA Tournament, something no coach in Women's Ivy League history has ever done.
