Women's Basketball No. 1 in Ivy Preseason Poll

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Basketball Team was selected as No. 1 in the Ivy League Preseason Poll, the league announced.
The Tigers earned 122 voting points and 10 of the 16 first place votes. Columbia was second with 110 points and five first place votes while Harvard was third with 101 points and one first place tally.
Penn was fourth (75) followed by Brown (71), Yale (48), Cornell (30) and Dartmouth (19).
The 2024-25 season gets underway on Nov. 4 at Duquesne, who won 21 games and reached the WNIT last season. After a trip to DePaul (Nov. 9), the Tigers' home opener is against another postseason squad in Villanova (Nov. 13).
